Verathy provides compassionate, research-based therapy to help you navigate life's challenges with confidence and clarity.

Welcome to

Verathy

Verathy in McLean, Virginia, specializes in comprehensive mental health care and counseling for people struggling with life challenges and psychiatric disorders. Founder, licensed professional counselor, and behavioral health expert Laura Granato, PhD, LPC, works with a diverse group of clinicians experienced in treating patients of all age groups. Their services are available via telehealth to patients living in Virginia, Maryland, and DC.

The team includes therapists and counselors trained in the latest technology. This allows them to connect with patients using telehealth and provide convenient care that equals or exceeds in-person visits.

New patients undergo an extensive intake so their clinicians understand each person’s needs and can match them with a clinician who best fits their issues and goals.

Each client’s clinician completes a thorough evaluation, determines a diagnosis, and creates a treatment plan that may include psychotherapy, medication management, alternative therapies, and recommendations for healthy lifestyle changes.

The Verathy team also engages in multidisciplinary case consultation to ensure clients and their families receive all the support and resources needed to meet their therapeutic goals.

Dr. Granato and the team counsel individuals and provide family therapy and couples therapy. Their expertise also includes pediatric therapy, helping children and teens with their unique developmental and life problems.

Patients often seek the team’s help for anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and trauma. However, Verathy offers compassionate care for every mental, emotional, and behavioral issue.

Patients seeking a therapist who truly listens to their concerns and cares about improving their lives can call Verathy or schedule an appointment online today.
